"Sourcing and leveraging human
capital"
In today's fast moving, talent-dependent economy 'leveraging human
capital' is a major concern for most organizations in both private
and government sectors. In this introductory seminar participants
will be introduced to latest strategies and techniques based on
research into human capital, strategic HR and intellectual reosurce
managment. Seminar topics will address how to improve selection
of internal and external resources, how to optimize alignment of
people, contracts and HR practices and how to maximize the contribution
of the workforce and its value to the organization.
"Retaining workforce experience"
Downsizing, competition for talent, and the effects of early retirement
are causing organizations in both public and private sectors to
lose key people and with them much valuable organizational experience.
Participants in this workshop will be introduced to knowledge-based
techniques that can be used to compare current workforce capabilities
to future knowledge needs and to elicit, record and transfer management
experience before it 'walks out of the door'.
"Performance Mapping"
Organizations are increasingly reliant for their survival and success
on their people and complementary intellectual capital such as systems,
processes, brands, reputation and customer and supplier relationships
. Those responsible for managing these resources are under increasing
pressure to identify and account for their influence on firm performance
but are frequently hamperered by the lack of adequate tools and
techniques. Participants in this workshop will gain practical experience
in using advanced modelling and analysis techniques to identify
and measure the influence of people and other intellectual resources
on business performance.
Tailored Courses
All the above courses are available for delivery on an inhouse
basis. Course content and structure e.g. topics and workshop exercises,
can be tailored to suit participants' needs. Course length in most
cases can be varied e.g. from one or two hour executive overviews
to half or one day seminars and one or two day intensive workshops.
In depth versions of individual modules from the courses can also
be provided and tailored to your organization's specific needs.
